I really loved this article! The same thing happened to me. I was a passionless chainsmoking kid who people thought was a waste because they think I’m smart but nobody told me what I’m good at exactly. So I was just lost. Then a professor of mine pointed out that I was a good writer and had a good set of vocabulary.

That was almost 4 years ago, now I’m a full time freelance writer because of that professor.
